CFC has a New Home
The Charlottesville Flight Center has moved! We are now in the old terminal building just south from our old digs.
This IS A GREAT PLACE! We are right on the ramp with a huge windowed lobby so you can see all the aviation action first hand.
Add in a big screen TV, overstuffed couch and pilot shop and this is a great place to visit!
The Charlottesville Flight Center offers aerial tours, photo flights and instruction in both fixed wing and helicopters.
We are a CATS approved computer testing center for all FAA written pilot exams. CFC has a relaxed atmosphere for wannabes,
beginners and seasoned pilots alike, anyone with a love of aviation is welcome!
Fixed Wing Training
The Charlottesville Flight Center is now an authorized Cessna Pilot Center.
We have five fixed wing Cessna aircraft available for training and rental. On the economy side is our Cessna 152- 4843H. This an excellent two seat trainer and sport flyer. Next
are two midrange Cessna 172 Skyhawks,
13508 and
7842G. These are IFR capable aircraft available for training and general rental.
On the upper end is
5210A, a 2002 Skyhawk SP with leather interior and conventional instruments.
The newest arrival,
1090V, is a brand new 2007 Skyhawk equipped with a G1000 computer glass cockpit.
Helicopter Training
We also now have two Robinson Helicopters online. The R22 is the primary trainer, while
the four seat R44 is an advanced trainer and true utility helicopter.
Helicopter pilots are in big demand, if you have ever thought about a formal certificate and training, come by and check out our choppers.
